I have updated the 128MB CF image file with the final Metrix Pebble dated 11/10/05 (This in not the newer Pyramid Linux which is currently in beta and dose not work with PCMCIA yet). This image has worked for months without getting hung up. It will still have to reconnect every 24 hours when Verizon kicks you off. But you will be reconnected within 10 to 15 seconds. Since Metrix.net is starting to provide CF image files for Pyramid Linux, this will probably be the last CF image that I create and post for others to use.

I have posted an alpha release of Metrix-Pebble for the Stompbox. You can find it here http://www.toddastone.com/stompbox.aspx. It was based off of Metrix-Pebble release date 09/22/05. I have most problems resolved. I still have one major issue to correct, that is getting ppp to reconnect properly after failing. It takes 24 hours or so for it to fail, so testing my changes is a slow process.
